Collect Art. Support the Resistance.

Updated: Dec 28, 2019

Many have observed the unique role artists and creatives play in troubled times. Beyond helping the public understand issues and events in new ways through artistic expression, history has plenty of examples where artists have gotten their hands dirty by organizing on behalf of progressive causes. #CollectiveActionPHL, organized by Streets Dept, seeks to advance these causes by empowering organizations that are already well positioned to do so and by placing art at the center of this effort. This silent auction seeks to raise $20,000 for "10 local and national social justice organizations that will be on the front lines during Trump’s presidency." Artwork donated from over 100 Philadelphia artists, including work by yours truly, will be available for purchase. The list of organizations being supported are listed here.

This is a full donation, so 100% of the proceeds of the sale of this artwork will be split evenly among the 10 organizations. See event details below. Happy bidding.
